South Plainfield, NJ – May 12, 2010 — GENEWIZ, the largest provider of research-based Sanger DNA sequencing in the United States, has introduced an updated logo that emphasizes the company’s long-standing commitment to excellence in both science and customer support. GENEWIZ specializes in DNA services including standard and complex DNA sequencing, molecular biology, gene synthesis and other genomic services for both regulatory and research needs. 

The new logo is designed to communicate the company’s mission and unwavering commitment to fast, reliable and accurate results, specialized expertise and friendly, personal customer support. The design features a free-flowing, lower-case letter ‘G’ on a circular background of blue and green accompanied by the GENEWIZ name and the new corporate tagline, “Solid Science. Superior Service.” 

The use of a blue and green color scheme in the logo is a departure from the previous shades of blue, and is meant to represent the synergy between solid science and excellent customer support, the cornerstones of the GENEWIZ misson. The green also indicates the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility. The new logo will be implemented in all its materials and locations over the next several months.

GENEWIZ has continued to expand, becoming an international presence with the opening of its Beijing, China, facility.
